Linda Lou: The cat was napping on the trampoline in the backyard.
Rae Mansfield: Suddenly, two kids came outside and started jumping on the trampoline and the cat flew into the air.
Linda Lau: Luckily, the cat landed on all four feet and was not injured.
Linda: The ice cream truck came rolling down the street.
Rae Mansfield: The kids jumped off of the trampoline and chased the ice cream truck.
Linda Lau: The cat went back to the trampoline and tried to take a nap again.
Linda Lou: They ordered ice cream sandwiches from the ice cream truck.
Rae Mansfield: They forgot to get an ice cream sandwich for the cat.
Linda Lau: So when they came back, they let the cat lick part of their ice cream sandwich.
Linda Lou: And this time, when the kids went back to jumping on the trampoline the cat didn’t mind being bounced up in the air so much.
Rae Mansfield: The cat started to enjoy it, jumping higher and higher.
Linda Lau: It looked around, did somersaults, and stretched its paws out in all different directions.
Linda Lou: Their mom came out and filmed this, put it on YouTube, and called it, “Three Monkeys Jumping on the Trampoline.”
Rae Mansfield: They got four million views in five minutes.
Linda Lau: Next thing you know, the kids and the mom are making merchandise with the cat’s face on it.
Linda Lou: If you would like to buy a T-shirt that says, ”If I can be a gymnast, so can you,” you can get it for fifteen dollars and ninety-five cents on their website.
Rae Mansfield: The cat is somewhat upset though because they are not getting a percentage of the profits.
Linda Lau: So to appease the cat they bought the cat an ice cream truck.
Linda Lou: And now, when the cat feels like it, the cat can take a nap in the ice cream truck.
Rae Mansfield: And the cat decided, “Things are pretty good.”
