LINDA: Mississippi was a strong woman who lived in a town called Hobbit.
RAE: The town had been re-named Hobbit because the town council thought it would attract money from J.R.R. Tolkien fans.
LINDA: The town held an annual festival and Mississippi helped all the vendors.
RAE: She could pick up a one ton truck and carry it from the parking lot to the fairgrounds without breaking a sweat.
LINDA: Mississippi made good money for her services so she didn’t mind.
RAE: And it was environmentally friendly, cutting down on the use of fossil fuels.
LINDA: When the visitors came for the festival, Mississippi pretended to be a “normal” woman.
RAE: She would flirt with all the guys, asking them to help her open jars and reach things for her off of high shelves.
LINDA: She enjoyed pretending for a few days.
RAE: If anyone sassed her and got rowdy she would pick them up, put them in a barrel, and roll them down the hill.
LINDA: That was fun too.
