LINDA: Teddy and Samantha were on a vacation in the mountains.
RAE: Samantha was an avid hiker and mountain climber.
LINDA: Teddy was not.
RAE: Teddy thought that hiking was a lot of unnecessary struggle just to look at a view.
LINDA: He agreed to go to the mountains because Samantha promised him that she would finally do the laundry at home.
RAE: Samantha kept buying more and more clothes and laundry hampers instead of doing the laundry.
LINDA: As he wobbly climbed up the 1000 feet, he regretted making the deal with Samantha.
RAE: Teddy accidentally stomped on Samantha’s hand as they were scrambling up the cliff.
LINDA: She cursed him and said that she would get back at him.
RAE: Teddy yelled, “Get back at me?!”
LINDA: Samantha did not respond, continuing to climb, and Teddy was concerned.
RAE: They scrambled past the sign reading that they were about to move above the treeline.
LINDA: Teddy wondered what that meant.
RAE: Samantha put on her puffer jacket from her pack, continuing to say nothing.
LINDA: Teddy continued climbing hoping that they would reach the top soon.
RAE: They made it to the top where there was snow.
LINDA: Teddy marveled at the view and made a sigh of relief.
RAE: “Some view, eh?” he asked Samantha.
LINDA: Samantha replied with a smirk, “And now we get to go down! It’s much scarier going down, Teddy!”
RAE: Teddy gulped.
