Linda Lau: It was a bright and sunny day.
Rae Mansfield: I remembered to bring my umbrella anyway.
Scott Fishman: People mistook the umbrella, however, for some sort of a weapon.
Linda Lau: They looked at me strangely as I walked down the street.
Rae Mansfield: I suppose the umbrella did have a long point at the end.
Scott Fishman: So I started thinking about the shape of the umbrella and decided to start making pointed remarks.
Linda Lau: I said to one person, “Those are very pointy shoes you have.”
Rae Mansfield: “Your podiatrist must love you, you probably paid for their next boat.”
Scott Fishman: The podiatrist didn’t do very well on boats, however, because they tripped over their own feet.
